[Bug 337724] [NEW] to battery monitors appear on starting the kubuntu live cd

The version is Kubuntu jaunty alpha 5.  And it seems like while I am
reporting this bug, the number of battery applets is multiplying. I know
have 5 battery applets running. So if you can not reproduce the bug, you
have to wait. They second appeared while I started installing. I
definitely only have one battery
