The problem occurs when amarok is not started.

I obtain the following log when I do this   :
1. Open a terminal
2. type amarok <path to any mp3 file>

As I do not have a debug-compiled amarok so I can't report the backtrace. 
I guess the problem is the same as the one occuring when you double-click on a MP3 file in dolphin and amarok is not started.
