Thanks for the feedback. I upgraded to KDE 4.2.4 and things looked good

This was when doing right-click, Empty wastebin on Local
folders/wastebin.

Moving to KDE 4.3 RC is not an option on this m/c; it has to do real
work, the kind hat pays the bills.
