Are you serious? Ubuntu doesn't support using Amarok for podcasts? I
suppose that's because you've included Gpodder, for all your podcatching
needs...

The question becomes whether or not Ubuntu is committed to a safe
upgrade process that preserves a user's data. Podcasts subscriptions
are not easy to rebuild.

Look, bottom line is this: sure, I can add Amarok 1 to my repos and
downgrade, but not everyone can. For some people, they've just lost all
their podcasts and that makes them sad. Isn't Ubuntu supposed to be
easy to use?

Why include Amarok 2 by default when the upgrade path wasn't tested for
podcasts? Look, I'm not throwing stones, here, but can you support
podcasts in the future?

Amarok is more powerful that Gpodder and allows greater flexibility for
downloading podcasts. I switched to KDE for a faster Amarok.
