I reported it to KDE as

and they said:

"this has been fixed in 4.3; 4.1 is ~1 year old at this point, it would be worth
upgrading when 4.3 is out in a couple weeks."

.. which pretty much translates to "go see your distro". So here I am.
If the bug is fixed upstream (see kde bugzilla reference) will you fix
it in kubuntu 9.04 updates ? This crashes my desktop all the time. Very
annoying.
