[Bug 319543] [NEW] After trying to add 3D Earth Model and failing, Plasma crashes

Binary package hint: kdebase-plasma

On Ubuntu 8.04, after installing KDE4 and related packages, I tried to
add the "3D Earth Model" widget to the workspace. The widget presented a
message stating that OpenGL Shaders were not supported, so I attempted
to close the widget. Upon doing this, the workspace disappeared, and the
following crash dump was created:
