[Bug 317110] [NEW] Plasma crashes when adding widget (KDE 4.2)

I'm sorry if this is the wrong category, but I couldn't find a matching
category.

On my fathers computer, Plasma crashes when he selects a widget to add
to the Desktop and then clicks on Add widget. It hangs for a while and
then crashes without any error. However, adding a widget to the Panel
does work.

He uses Kubuntu 8.10 with KDE 4.2 Release Candidate 1. He also had the
bug in KDE 4.2 Beta 2.
