Thanks for this patch, sounds great. Unfortunately your precompiled
version is not working for me because the content of
/sys/devices/virtual/dmi/id/board_name is "U90/U100", not "U-100", on my
MSI Wind U100.

But with this and the latest progress made on Bug #435352, it seems
Karmic is finally coming to a state were it can be used.
