Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

After I upgraded KDE to 4.4 beta1 from lucid I noticed that in
systemsettings there is no phonon configuration module. I can't find
/usr/share/kde4/services/kcm_phonon.desktop or
/usr/lib/kde4/kcm_phonon.so in newest kdebase-runtime{,-data}.

Additionally I can't play songs in amarok, etc, which could be related
to this problem. Am I missing something?

Edit:
kdebase-runtime (4:4.3.80-0ubuntu1) lucid; urgency=low
...
    - Temporarily build with KDE4_DISABLE_MULTIMEDIA=ON to work around old
      Phonon from Qt

So yes, I'm blind :) I wish you fix this issue soon.
