[Bug 493983] [NEW] kppp will not launch after today's distribution upgrade

Binary package hint: kdenetwork

After today's distribution upgrade, I am unable to use kppp to access
the internet.  Even when I try to run it from the terminal with gksudo
kppp, I get prompted to enter my password and then after that, nothing
happens.
