ok.. you removed the video from youtube, and I don't think we need to write e-mail to each other.
If I am not wrong the solution is:
1) rename /usr/bin/gnome-power-manager to /usr/bin/whatever_you_want
2) create symlink from guidance-power-manager to gnome-power-manager
3) restart you X server and enjoy.

it's a perfectly "working workaround" :-)
