Hi Michael,

The <program> syntax shown on the Backtrace wiki indicates "replace this
with your program".  The less-than and greater-than characters are part
of the text to be replaced.  So you should run:

sudo gdb /usr/bin/kpilot 2>&1 | tee ~/gdb-kpilot.txt
