The problem occurred during the upgrading process from Kubuntu 8.10 to
9.04.  This has something to do with "kaddressbook," files, and I
understand the problem I encountered is not critical and the upgrade
from Kubuntu 8.10 to Kubuntu 9.04 will continue.  I did not experience
this problem last night, while upgrading Kubuntu on a different laptop.

I could not find the /var/log/dist-upgrade/ folder, presumably because
the upgrading process has not been completed yet.  I am attaching
/var/log/syslog instead, although I am not sure if this is relevant.
