Please upgrade to Kubuntu Jaunty.

Also, no developer was able to reproduce this isse so far. Thus upstream
(see KDE bug report) indicated it might be a compability issue, since it
is not appearing in clean accounts (even though that would be weird due
to the newness of your setup).

Yet I can only think of 2 possible points of failure:
* compability issue
* incomplete upgrade of the KDE stack causing an incompability between the trash kioslave and kdelibs making the former unusable in that combination

Both of which are support issues, so I strongly urge you to get support
http://www.kubuntu.org/support before reopen this bug.
