Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

Test case:

The update notifier shows available updates. By clicking on the update notifier, the kcm module software updates is launched. Check one or more packages to be updated. Click on Apply. A dialog pops up that asks for authentication, however, only local accounts are given as choice, no ldap accounts with sudo rights.
The result is that no packages can be updated with an ldap account.

Expected behaviour:

Ldap accounts with sudo rights should also be able to authenticate and
therefore install updates.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
