My problem is a bit different, my kde desktop is restarted only when I
pass the mouse cursor on the kdetwitter plasmoid after the timeline of
my twitter profile is completely loaded. After this the plasmoid is
shown without the timeline data.

I'm using intrepid (32 bits) with kde 4.2 from http://ppa.launchpad.net
/kubuntu-members-kde4/ubuntu repository on an acer aspire 4520 laptop
(nvidia geforce 7000M)
