I can also confirm the behaviour that Julien posted: it is still an
issue even after release. Additionally, it seems that an extra network
connection appears on the list of networks each time you do this, and it
is completely impossible to use an existing listed connection. This of
course makes "Connect Automatically" useless.

Using Kubuntu Jaunty, open network with WEP key. Same whether you use
the passphrase or the 26 character hex equivalent.
