[Bug 356287] [NEW] Network Manager fails to apply static IP address

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

The plasmoid for Network Management does not correctly auto adjust its
height once wired connections are defined.  The plasmoid needs to be
pulled away from the panel, closed, then reopened and it returns with
the correct height.  Once clicking on one of the connections, such as a
profile for a static IP address, it seems to be doing something but it
never sets the settings.  I verified with ifconfig eth0 to make sure.
