It happened to me after todays upgrade, too (Kubuntu 9.04 i386).
It could be because of python version installed:
python 2.6.1-0ubuntu9 
python2.6 2.6.2~rc1-0ubuntu1
python-kde4 4:4.2.2-0ubuntu2
