[Bug 350120] [NEW] painting artifacts with qt4.5 on radeon chipset

Regions of the screen that are not repainted or are simply filled with
static. If those regions contain a widget (a button or a line edit, for
example) moving the mouse over them triggers a correct repaint.

Changing to use XAA resolves the issue.
