Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kde4libs

Just upgraded a machine with Kubuntu Intrepid 32bit and no backports
enabled. It quits with the error:

kdelibs-bin: Depends: kdelibs5 (=4.4.2-0ubuntu1~intrepid1) but
4:4.1.4-0ubuntu1~Intrepid1.1 is to be installed

>From looking at packages.ubuntu.com, the version of kdelibs5 it's asking
for is only in backports. I've done all the usual apt-get update /
upgrade / -f install / dpkg --configure -a all multiple times, but the
root of the problem seems to be mismatched dependencies.

There's at least one other post on the forums about this at the moment:

** Affects: kde4libs (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
