Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kubuntu-desktop

This is a suggestion for Kubuntu Intrepid (or, if it's too late, for
Jaunty). Currently, the default browser in Kubuntu is Konqueror;
however, it would be a simple matter to switch out Konqueror for
Firefox. I recently stumbled upon this guide, which details how to
integrate Firefox with KDE in every possible aspect: http://gentoo-
wiki.com/HOWTO_Integrate_Firefox_with_KDE. This includes the following:
a KDE 4 theme, the file selector dialog, setting the default browser,
the download manager (KGet), and some other stuff. Some parts are just
for KDE 3.5, so I can't say with 100% certainty that it covers
everything necessary for KDE 4 integration, but it's definitely worth
looking at. The lack of a fully integrated Firefox is what is holding a
lot of users back from KDE, so this would help those users back. Also,
it doesn't make much sense to use Konqueror as the default Kubuntu
browser, when Epiphany isn't the default Ubuntu browser.

** Affects: kubuntu-meta (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
