[Bug 262409] [NEW] I need to unplug and plug the modem to knetworkmanager take its normal state

Each time i start Kubuntu, knetworkmanager applet is in an strange state, with a green world sphere icon, i need to unplug and plug again my modem in order to knetworkmanager applet take its normal state, with the cable icon.
I use an USB cable-modem: ID 069b:0704 Thomson, Inc. DCM245 Cable Modem.
I attach a small video of my desktop to you can see clearny the ussue .
