[Bug 290390] Re: adept crashes Xorg when completing on non-active desktop

i'm using an ATI card with the proprietary drivers. i'll try updating
those now and see if it makes any difference.

any ideas why adept would be triggering this, or why leaving adept on
the active desktop resolves the problem? i haven't had any such crashes
with any other software...
