Public bug reported:

Binary package hint: kdebase

Icons for applications cannot be changed.

Tried this in Systemsettings-->Advanced-->File Associations.

Icons for existing file types cannot be changed (in KDE3 we have that option by for clicking the icons).
This also happens when a new file type is added in File Associations, the option to assign a specific icons is not available, so that every new file type always get the unrecognized icon (question mark icon).

Kubuntu Intrepid Beta
KDE 4.1.2

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided
         Status: New
