This works for me in both apps.

This could be one of a couple of things:

1) is launch pad reachable from your system at the time this problem occurs? (try opening your browser to the following link and see if it works as expected: https://answers.launchpad.net/ubuntu/intrepid/+sources/kdebase/+gethelp
2) it relies on /usr/bin/launchpad-integration from package launchpad-integration. Can you verify this application is installed and runable on your system? Run this (which launchpad-integration) and see what it returns. Then try (launchpad-integration -P dolphin) and it should retunr info about dolphin.

Let me know the results of the above. Setting to incomplete for now.
