Public bug reported:
Binary package hint: kttsd
1)
Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)
Release: 8.10
2)
kttsd:
Installed: 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1
Candidate: 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1
Version table:
*** 4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1 0
500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
Finnish tts used is from package festvox-suopuhe-mv:
festvox-suopuhe-mv:
Installed: 20041119-1
Candidate: 20041119-1
Version table:
*** 20041119-1 0
500 http://fi.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/universe Packages
100 /var/lib/dpkg/status
3 & 4)
Following problems occur:
- If language order is changed in Talkers tab, changing doesn't have any effect. The first language should be used as in previous version of ubuntu (hardy).
- Umlaut characters (ä,ö) aren't spelled correctly (it says "unknown character", in finnish, though). Charset selected is Latin1 (in talker options) as it should be. The same problem if I have UTF-8 as a charset in talker options.
- When clipboard has HTML content (as usually is the case), HTML tags are also spoken. This was not the case in previous ubuntu (hardy). Same problem occurs in any language.
** Affects: kdeaccessibility (Ubuntu)
