The problem seems to be that the terminology used to describe both modes could be used to describe either mode...
It seems that a fix has been made for KDE 4.2. It would be quite easy to port this back to our 4.1 packages for Intrepid, though. (Although I don't know how nice a string change would be to the translation team...)
