I would be disappointed to see this bug closed. Problems remain with
Firefox 3 in the Intrepid Ibex beta using an old HP LaserJet 4L.

I have written up these problems on UbuntuForums
(http://ubuntuforums.org/showthread.php?t=939484) and as bug 458641 on
the Mozilla bug database. Briefly, the resolution involves a clumsy
work-around, namely a special paper type buried in a sub-menu. Also, on
my printer, the headers and footers still print outside the imageable
area as defined by the special paper type and as set by CUPS. On my
particular model, pages are also offset by 3/8" to the printable area
set by CUPS.
