[Bug 280450] [NEW] Kate "cuts" instead of "copies"

Binary package hint: kate

When I copy selected characters in kate and paste them into another
running instance of kate, the kate which I copied the characters from
cuts them out instead of leaving the selected characters there. I'm
fairly positive that this is not the desired activity. I'm using the
"4:4.1.2-0ubuntu1" package version.
