I have this problems as well in Kubuntu Intrepid latest beta. When the
master volumen is set to PCM, the OSD and volumen (for PCM) works fine.
But when i set the master volume to Front (this is happening whatever i
use a desktop or a laptop...), the OSD does not move and if i open the
KMix window, i see that still is changing the PCM volume and not the
Front like it should.
