Same for: Kubuntu Intrepid Beta,
Thinkpad R61i

network with WEP password, connects fine when DHCP is used, but no longer if static IP is used.
In my case the knetwork manager shows the icon "full signal strength" but the connection is not really established. Also, in my case knetworkmanager does not ask for password (I already gave the password during the configuration).
