[Bug 278676] [NEW] create image gallary tool fails on files with slashes

Public bug reported:

i had a folder named "Movie time 10/03/08" it had pictures in it.  when
i went to 'create an image gallery' it failed saying "failed to create
folder...." after changing the folder name to "Movie time 10_03_08" the
tool worked.
