-vitor at seattle:~$ lsb_release -rd
Description: Ubuntu intrepid (development branch)
Release: 8.10

vitor at seattle:~$ uname -a
Linux seattle 2.6.27-4-generic #1 SMP Wed Sep 24 01:30:51 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

I installed Intrepid Alpha 6 and have been running apt-get update; apt-
get upgrade daily. I believe I'm in sync with Intrepit Beta now.

----

I can confirm that behavior.

All of Kopete's notifications show on the top of the screen instead of
besides the tray icon. That includes "John Doe is now Online" kind of
notifications and also when someone sends you a message.

Although in the case of messages, the notification comes and goes away
in less than 1 second. Most of the time I'm not able to read them.

All other notifications (Skype, KNetworkManager, KDE Crash Handler,
Adept Notification, etc.) show in the appropriate place.
