[Bug 69045] Re: kdm fails with us-intl keyboard layout set by installer

With Kubuntu 8.10 and KDE 4.1.3 behaviour is the same as I reported
previously for Kubuntu Hardy with KDE 3.5.9: in the username field
things work as expected, in the password field they still don't.

I'm also reopening bug #54564 since kdesudo in kubuntu intrepid also
seems to suffer from this defect.
