[Bug 295945] [NEW] k3b 1.0.5 (using kde 3.5.10) fails to verify

Binary package hint: k3b

A disk of data files writes, but the verify stage doesn't seem to start
(or if it does, it doesn't proceed). the time so far time counts up and
up, but time remaining stays at around 9mins.  After leaving it 20 mins
or so I gave up and clicked cancel - it stopped immediately, so the app
hadn't just hung.  Some of the files on the disk seem ok, but who
knowss.

i'm using ubuntu 8.10 64 bit, up to date patches, no compiz installed.

if you want me to do some more tests then let me know.  I don't mind
which software I use but I have to be able to verify!
