well most of the times it manages to connect even after suspend to RAM,
but not all the time

for ex i have been at work and wpa wifi connection was active

then i moved to bluetooth hsdpa phone as internet source

then suspended to ram

then woken up at the cafe - no internet

then suspended to ram

then woken up at home - wifi connection active and working....

very strange

this is my version:
knetworkmanager:
  Installed: 1:0.7svn864988-0ubuntu1
  Candidate: 1:0.7svn864988-0ubuntu1
  Version table:
 *** 1:0.7svn864988-0ubuntu1 0
        500 http://pl.archive.ubuntu.com intrepid/main Packages

i cleared my /etc/network/interfaces file to have it working, maybe try this?
