Hi Lars,

Thank you for reporting this bug.
However you should know that you can`t read css-protected dvds in ubuntu per default, because the needed library to do this "libdvdcss" is illegal in some states.

Please tell us if this error still occurs while using a non-copy-
protected dvd or with installed libdvdcss
