It happens all the time, when I run "displayconfig" from the command line (just tested it for another bug).
Apparently, there are a stale .pyc files left in /usr/share/python-support/kde-guidance, e.g.:
$ ll /usr/share/python-support/kde-guidance/xorgconfig.pyc
-rw-r--r-- 1 root root 26435 2006-09-22 03:07 /usr/share/python-support/kde-guidance/xorgconfig.pyc

After having it moved away, it complained about xf86misc.pyc and so
forth.

I've now removed /usr/share/python-support/kde-guidance/*.pyc and it
works.

It seems that the files have moved to guidance-backends, but the precompiled files have been left there.
The .py files are now in /usr/share/python-support/guidance-backends/ (guidance-backends).
