Hi,

anyone doing something on this?

On Samsung X20 I have the same problem:

uname -a
Linux wooster 2.6.22-14-generic #1 SMP Tue Feb 12 07:42:25 UTC 2008 i686 GNU/Linux

dpkg -l | grep kde-guidance

Mobility X600]

Using FN UP/DOWN I can change brightness and also with the following command:
sudo vbetool vbefp setbrightness <INTEGER> (min 65349 max 65532)
