[Bug 197201] [NEW] system language selection/language installation broken in Japanese env.

Public bug reported:

Hardy Alpha 5+ all updates.
System language set to Japanese after installation, system fonts changed to look better in Japanese and in general.

The attached image is 'Select System Language' or whatever it would be in english.
If there's another way to get back to English that would be nice. My kanji is too weak for this.
I can't even select one of those unintelligible options. There's just no result when I attempt to change it...
