Hi there,

I installed Kubuntu 7.10 tribe 5 today and I found the following
problem on my machine:

The Applet "System Menu" on the kicker panel contains an entry "Storage Menu" which throws an error when I click it:
Window Title: Error - KIOExec
Message: Malformed URL media:/.

When entering "media:/" in both dolphin or konqueror, I don't get an
error and the correct devices are listed.

Maybe it is related to Bug #125256 where the link was asked to change from /media to media:/ ?
This problem was not on my Kubuntu 7.04 install.

I'm glad to provide more details if needed.

P.S. The package affected might be kdebase, but I was not sure.

BTW: I adore dolphin or d3olphi or whatever. A very big usability step
forward IMHO.

Cheers and keep up the good work

EDIT: The same happens for the Remote Places and User Folders menu
entry, but also for the Trash applet. For the latter I can adjust
properties and empty it, but when I try to open it I get the same
KIOExcec error window with malformed URL trash:/ message. All these work
in Dolphin and Konqueror.

** Affects: kdebase (Ubuntu)
     Importance: Undecided

         Status: Confirmed
