Kooka was removed from KDE 4, so I'll mark this bug as won't fix. I am
sure an application filling the gap for scanning will appear sooner or
later and provide a better solution than kooka could ever have been.

We, the Kubuntu team, also thank you for taking the time to report this
issue :-)
