[Bug 243815] [NEW] wineconfig has issues with some characters in file names

Binary package hint: kde-guidance

Adding an exception for an executable with and ampersand in its path (and filename) results in errors writing to the registry (user.reg), which is either cutting the file name after the ampersand or dropping the ampersand and the following character.
>From looking at the python source code, I'm not sure if this problem is due to wineconfig or the wine registry itself, as the error messages seem to stem (partly) from regedit. If this bug is really a regedit thing, please feel free to forward this to the wine people :)
Distribution is Kubuntu 8.04.
