[Bug 239051] [NEW] hardy kde 3.5.9 session management not working

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

Did a clean install of Ubuntu 8.04 / kubuntu 3.5.9

Session management is enabled.

When logging in to a new session, I expect all windows that were open
during the previous session to open on the same virtual desktop as in
the previous session.

Instead, all previously opened windows open on desktop 1.

It is not a problem with a configuration setting since it happens with
~/.kde from Ubuntu 7.10 / kde 3.5.9 (installed from backports) or with a
clean ~/.kde directory.
