[Bug 238532] [NEW] [Gutsy-Kubuntu-Hardy8 .04]Led on numeric key pad not ON

After upgrading from Gutsy to Hardy the led of my numeric key pad is not on though numeric key pad is activated through KDE setting in peripheral -> keyboard -> keyboard lock on when opening session ; of course if I press "Num Lock" on my key pad i get the led ON ; for your information my keyboard wasworking well in Gutsy in the same conditions ; I have the following equipment :
- x86_64 machine,
- Logitech Ultra X Media key board USB but connected to PS2 port with a X-over plug.

I will pursue testing with :
- KDE 4.0.5 instead of KDE 3.5.9
- Gnome session instead of KDE session
- direct connection of key board on USB port instead of PS2 port by mean of a X-over plug.

This bug report has been linked to Kcontrol but it might have to do with another piece of software
