Thanks for your suggestions.

1) usability is classified wishlist according to our conventions.

2) There is an easy workaround by choosing manually a different color
scheme.

3) the suggestion to calculate the contrast is a feature request that is
far too complex to be handled via a bug report. Please suggest this idea
to http://brainstorm.ubuntu.com if you think it should be pursued.
