Problem still occuring. 
  Amarok 1.4.8
  Language en_AU

Could the Amarok team add a check etc to overide the default KDE
language to get around this problem until the translation team get
around to dealing with this?

Considering this bug has been around since April 2007, maybe the
priority should be bumped up a little?
