This is not a qt4-x11 issue. The problem is due to a crack upload of the
kubuntu-default-settings package. To fix this issue, simply remove
/etc/kde4rc, log off and then back on. Everything will work as planned.

The fix has also been released with an updated kubuntu-default-setting
package that removes the kde4 parts from the file for the time being.
