OK, It's Feb 14 and no fix has been released within the updates as
promised here: https://wiki.ubuntu.com/GutsyGibbon/ReleaseNotes

I just don't get it. 4 months later all new Kubuntu users still won't be
able to connect to msn with Kubuntu's default IM. It has no sense to
me...
